It's that time! 2pm Tomorrow.

I'm curious why I don't see many people who have had TLH in their titles. My biggest fear is that I'm going to wake up tomorrow and they are going to have done one of those "possible" options that I signed for during pre-op. They have yet to determine what causes my heavy periods and cramping, so I'm nervous about heading into the unknown here! My pap was abnormal and uterine biopsy came back "insufficient sample and findings". I opted for the surgery now before whatever is causing all my problems shows its ugly head when I'm less heathly, etc. My grandmother died of uterine cancer in her 50s of course that was before modern technology. I feel good I'm being proactive. I just hate the suspense of what am I going to wake up to tomorrow afternoon??

My procedure is for D&C first then TLH, however all the other possiblities are out there: abdominal, take the tubes and ovaries. My doctor has been very pro active and straight forward. My sister and coworker have had him as a doctor for awhile now too and they say he means business. I like that. I just don't like that I don't get to hear what happened while I was out until after it has happened but why go through this again and again... Get it all out the first time around right?
