Re: Best Wishes to our February 21 Princesses

I'm having a LAVH tomorrow at 8:30 am, arriving at the castle at 7 am. Mine is not outpatient though, I'll be spending the night in the hospital. Best wishes to you, and see you on the other side!

Forgive me for not knowing acronyms, but the surgeon will make 3 small abdominal incisions (lap) and vaginal assisted.

I have to be there at 6:30 a.m., surgery begins at 7:30 and he told me it would be approx 2 hours.

I have to stay over at least one night.

Be well, sisters, and remember you are not alone!

Re: Best Wishes to our February 21 Princesses

I was scheduled for my hysto on 2/21 - on 2/18 when I had my pre-op appointment, I was devastated to find out that my medicaid had lapsed (I moved last month when it was apparently due, so the redetermination papers were not forwarded to my new address) and the hospital will not schedule my surgery until the insurance issue is resolved. looks like 4-6 more weeks of waiting for me
