discharge what's normal

Hello everyone. I'm 11 days into my recovery from a TVH-BSO WITH HRT...I thought I was doing fine until my 8th day I started seeing a few tablespoons everycouple of hours of black old blood discharge. I didn't see this until I started doing things more around the house. My concern is? Is this normal. Has anyone had this. My girlfriend said she only had yellow discharge. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of tblsp. every hour seems excessive to me, but since it's brown that means it's old blood. I had discharge that ranged from yellow to pink to brown. If it stays that heavy I think u should call your doc just to be safe.
