Searing, burning pain

I had an LSH on Wed. I am doing ok except for a searing buring pain deep inside on my right tummy. It is not anywhere near my incisions, but if I tense my muscles or twist a certain way, it feels like I am being split apart inside. It is so bad I cant stand up straight. I keep an ice pack on my side constantly to numb things some, but the pain pills don't help. I can walk pretty well, then all of a sudden, I can hardly move. I almost couldn't get back to the bed from the bathroom earlier.

My doctor said to expect more pain on the right since he had to put stitches inside to prevent a hernia...am I pulling my stitches?

Searing, burning pain

Sounds like it. Right after my LAVH/BSO, I felt like my belly button was going to rip apart. There was a huge chunk of surgical clue in it and, turns out, IT WAS ripping, LOL. Once all of the glue came out, it felt MUCH better.

Be careful not to move in ways that hurt I wouldnt worry too much, especially if you dont have a fever or alot of bleeding. But, if the pain gets to be unbearable, CALL YOUR DOC.

Searing, burning pain

I too had burning searing pain, especially when i would get up or move suddenly. I was told it was because of cut nerves and healing. Finally went away but was very scary and such a weird feeling.

Searing, burning pain

I had that sharp, burning pain also. It was no where near my incision (bikini cut) but was higher and on my right side also. I still fell a twinge of pain there sometimes and I am at 8 weeks today.

Same here...and still feel it from time to time if I try to do too much or sneeze.

Take care of you and pamper yourself!
