TVH 9/14 and nicked bladder

Well, here I am Rapunzel in the castle and working through the healing process. During my hyst the gyn nicked my bladder and I'll be wearing a cath for the next week. Just wondering, how many other princesses have had to deal with this? How well did you heal? Everything go back to normal? Any tips on making the healing process go smoother?

Thanks! Feeling crummy and a little scared so your opinions and experiences are very needed right now!

Re: TVH 9/14 and nicked bladder

Same story with me. I had a TVH on 9/8 and they nicked my bladder. I wore a catheter and a bag at home till yesterday (9/14). It was annoying, but no problems. I went to the doc yesterday to have it removed and no problems again. I really appreciate being able to pee and have freedom of movement. Carrying a bag of pee around wasn't fun. I often wondered if I was lifting too much to take it and drain it!

Good luck!
