1 1/4 hour drive to get home....any advice?

Oh my goodness...just read this post and the replies and never even thought about this.

I am having surgery done away from home and have to stick close to the hospital for a week before I can go home...7 hours away. I will definately stock up on the pillows. Anything else? We have a mini van and I was thinking we'd put the kiddo's on the back seat and I would lay on the 2nd seat. Should I ask my dr. for super med's that will help with this long trip?

I rode in the backseat, with lots of pillows and blankets for comfort. Make sure to take a dose of pain meds before leaving for home too. It helps! I had a 1 1/2 hr drive (including stopping at the pharmacy for meds!)
