Re: What are you wearing?

I lived in track pants for a few weeks, but found some elastic waist slacks at Newport News. They are listed as Black Wide Leg Pants. Item number 1S-33442. I got them through myshape.com. Anyway, they are heavy enough for colder weather, but very soft material & elastic waist. I wear a long tailed top with them & a very loose belt. I also got them on sale for $25.

I'm back into jeans, as long as they are fairly loose, or stretch denim.

Re: What are you wearing?

I bought two pairs of stretch pants with the high waist that folds over, no zippers, no strings to worry about and not ironing required.

They were really comfy, even at dinner time when my swelly belly was at its peak

Re: What are you wearing?

What's a moo moo dress, and what do yoga pants look like? I only have 3 pairs of stretchy pants that I can wear right now - no jeans, and nothing that is restrictive around my belly/waist/middle area. I have tried to wear such items, and have driven home with my pants undone!!! Not doing that again for a while. I bought 3 pairs of velour pants with elasticated waist and drawstring so I can adjust accordingly (no elasticated ankle though). I need to expand (pardon the pun!!) my wardrobe - anyone buying maternity wear? Target maternity wear looks great!! May try that route :-)

Re: What are you wearing?

the most comfortable thing i wore during recovery were the yoga pants with the "foldover" top - but i unfolded it, so it basically went up to just under the bustline... it felt so nice and soft over my incisions (da vinci). i wish i'd had 100 pairs! i also embraced the leggings trend - they are pretty comfy. zippers and buttons, not so much. as others have said, i wear them now to work but at the end of the day i am DYING to get out of them!!

Re: What are you wearing?

I am 2 weeks today post surgery. I had laprascopic hysterectomy. The swelling is minimal but my belly button still hurts. I am back working, which really does feel great. I do secretarial sitdown work, and can also wear pretty much what I want to work, but prefer nice pants, or jeans and sweaters ----it is winter here in MN! I found a walking/jogging outfit at JC Penny's that is wonderful. It makes me feel somewhat presentable. The waistband is wide and the hoodie is a zipper kind, but what makes it so nice is it is in a velour fabric. So it is nice and soft with a flowing fabric. It just makes you feel a little more womanly when wearing it versus my plain sweat pants.

Re: What are you wearing?

Velour sweat pants. JCPenney had had some good sales on the pants and hoodies. Some days I keep my jammies on all day. I wore jeans for the first time today and I got them off when I got home.

Re: What are you wearing?

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned dresses! I pretty much worn 3 dresses through the late spring, summer and fall. boy are those guys getting worn out now! I work big stretchy underpants, or biker shorts under for awhile.

Re: What are you wearing?

I was finally able to put my jeans on today! It felt so good. Went out shoping all day and was surprised that I was not having any problems from wearing them. That means come Mon. I can wear pants to work again instead of the yoga pants and track suits! Have a Christmas party next Friday and was stressing on what I was going to be able to wear. I feel pretty good about this---I am day 19 of LSH. When I came out of the bedroom my husband instantly noticed and was so happy for me.

Re: What are you wearing?

A dear friend came over with a home-made pecan pie. I wore a pair of "GRIP" yoga pants my sister had given up--they were too short for her-. When I'm here at the house being LAZY, it's flannel or fleece pj pants with drawstring waist, or just a gown or tee and boxers. right now? It's pink fleece pj bottoms and a Southern Mississippi teeshirt.
