Hysterectomy and anticoagulation meds

Anyone else in this situation, that is had hysterectomy and is on anticoagulation medication for life? Anything I should know following my surgery?

Although i am unable to help you with your meds i am here to give you a big hug and let you know that we are all here for you...There may be others on here with the same problem, i'm not sure. hello, did you have your surgery already? I underwent mine on July 26, 2006. Make sure your doctors understand the importance of you being on your meds. I'm on coumadin and it turned out to be life-threatening. The doctor needs to carefully bring you back up to your normal thinness level. Your Probtime and Inr levels need to be carefully monitored.
