HCG Diet Post Complete Hysterectomy
Ok so I am 28 and had a complete hysterectomy last september. Since then, I have continued to have pain, can't take hormones, can't sleep and have night sweats!! And then on top of all that crap I have gained about 15 pounds!!! I am so frustrated. I have tried eating better but nothing seems to help. I have several friends who have lost a lot of weight with the HCG drops and diet. I was just wondering with the hysterectomy if it is ok to do and if anyone has tried it and what their results were???

Hi endover and 
You sound miserable and that's a shame  What is a HCG Diet? Did you have your ovaries removed along with your hysterectomy? If so, I haven't heard of any diet that can replace hormones that ovaries make, so I am skeptical that food choices could impact that.

HCG is a diet where you take the Pregnancy Hormone while on a 500 calorie diet for 21 days and you lose about a pound a day. It is supposed to reset your metabolism.
