1day post op and my hubby won't stop...

SNORNG! It's loud in my ear and I can't stand it! When I say something he gets an attitude...DUDE, YOU ARE DISTURBING ME! I can't rest, I can't sleep. When he is up he leaves doors open, slamming cabinet doors and mumbling with attitude. I may have slept a total of 2 hrs since leaving the hospital yesterday at 5! This isn't good AT ALL!

That sucks . . . but I can relate, my husband is a cham-peen snorer! Is he home all day, maybe you can sleep when he's not around? Or suggest that he leave for a while? I'm sorry he's giving you such an attitude about it. I know he can't control it, but I hope he realizes it's interfering with your being able to rest.

Re: 1day post op and my hubby won't stop...

I completely get it most snorers don't realize how bad it can get especially when you're not feeling well. Do
you have a guest room? My husband is staying in my for a week or two it was his idea because of being afraid of bumping me or waking me while I get better. Maybe you could gently explain and suggest saying something like it usually doesn't bother you but because of your present discomfort etc. Hope it gets better.

Re: 1day post op and my hubby won't stop...

I'm sorry your going through that ....I found a website for my hubby called Mister Hyster Sisters so that he could see what I'm going through, plus if he has questions he can ask.....my hubby has been a great support from the moment I was told I needed surgery(TAH).... I am almost 6 weeks post-op and just starting to do some light chores to get some responsibilty off my hubby for all he's done for me...maybe if he goes on that website it will help....
