Jelly belly

I just had my surgery on 3/11 under general anesthesia. It was done vag. but left ovaries. I was informed by Dr. that uterus was the size of 12 wk fetus plus several fibroids on top that was not seen thru dnc. My question is ... did anyone have this procedure with a spinal block ? Therefor no jellybelly
