feeling of tampon falling out

Hi ladies im nearly 7 weeks post op TAH and have this new feeling like tampon not in properly has this happened to anyone else hope it's just part of the healing process. Haven't done anything i shouldn't and have not strained when using bathroom although 2 days ago i did have stomach pains and diarrhea.

I'm sort of having the same problem. Only seems to be when I'm standing, I feel like a slight heaviness or something dropping. Also, almost like I have to pee, but I don't.

I had a similar experience at about the same time in my healing. I found that using a daily vaginal moisturizer helped soothe those tissues. There is one available at the HysterSisters store if you would like to check it out. I have also used vitamin e suppositories. Just a couple of suggestions.

Hi! I'm 3 weeks post TAH. About a week after surgery, I started having the same feeling, like a tampon coming out by itself, or something inside vagina, irritating. Went to dr at 2 weeks postop because I was worried, and he did exam and said everything was healing nicely and everthing is 'where its supposed to be', and the feeling is probably just part of the healing process. I still feel it off and on, and since he had prescribed HRT when I left hospital, I went ahead and started it yesterday in case the feeling is caused by vaginal dryness which the HRT is supposed to help.

I have this feeling too. I daren't look with a mirror! Think i might make an appointment to get it looked at and make sure mine all fine. Hope it is just part of the healing process and not prolapse!
