6 day countdown

Oh my gosh it's coming fast! Still nervous, but I think everyone is a little. Some things that are helping:
1. Finding this site and the great support here. I don't have many people to talk to so this is wonderful
2. I have stopped taking aleve for the pain 5 days ago. I did not know it was a blood thinner. Anyway, I didn't know how reliant I was on it because I have been in terrible pain! I would take it at the first sign of pain and continue till the pain was gone. I was way over using. The pain is helping me to know that I did NOT make a hasty decision for surgery.
3. I have applied my last hormone patch for bleeding and pain control. I had to double dose the patch to keep from having any periods. Can't wait to rip those babies off!
4. I have a wonderful friend who I can talk to and who is coming the day before surgery for a quick house pick up and to pray with me.
5. I have discussed my fears of being damaged goods with my husband and he has assured me none of this changes me in his eye.
Ok, there it is. Now, I just gotta re-read these notes for the next 6 days as the anticipation builds and I become nervous again!
