Answer needed -- RE: bm (Updated)

SORRY...

i'm severely constipated and without being too graphic the bm seems to be 'trapped' between my heiny-hole and my vagina causing a tremendous amt of pressure. it won't come all the way out.

what can i do if anything? I took Milk ofMagnesia, but the pressure is so great bearing down.

Do you have any glycerin suppositories on hand? They provide the most immediate relief.

I agree - glycerin suppositories!!

ditto the glycerin suppositories. I had to buy some on Sunday and they helped within just a few min's. I don't think it would've been a good idea for me to have waited even a day longer.

This sounds similar to what I have been enduring for awhile.
I figured out last night. if I insert my thumb in my vagina While going I was finally able to go. ( I think I may have a rectocele : (
I made an appt to see my Dr on Friday.)
My stools are soft though...So that may have made a difference for me to be able to go.
it is how I have gone all day today ;o

Up until yesterday was using Glycerine Suppositories & they did help.

can i still use the suppositories even if i have fecal matter 'stuck' in my heiny?? It's there, but won't come all the way out. i snt my dh out now to get some. i cant even sit..im standimg

they are soft and some r hard. i passed two small hard ones earlier today.

The same thing happened to me....and with all due respect....the last thing I could imagine doing was sticking something up there!!! It was so very painful. I went for 3 days like this. I tried prunes, fruit juice, fiber, and a harsh laxative.

What worked for me finally was a stool softener and Milk of magnesia!! I still take the stool softener daily and I am 5 wks. post op.

Walk a bit, drink water & take those 2 things and hopefully things will be running smoothly by tomorrow.

Please be advised.....my first BM after that pain was very painful, but once the blockage was out, all was well.

I think it should work ok still.
If you can keep the Supposity in for 15 minutes before trying to go again it may work better. (or how ever long the directions say)

i cant wait until 2moro -- the pressure is so bad that i cant lay or sit.

it seems 2 need a push. when i wipe -- some stool breaks free

I know exactly what you're feeling....I couldn't sit either. I was either standing or laying down. It was total and complete misery.

If you can use the suppository, then please do. I know I couldn't.

I wish you a speedy remedy for this. Please get the stool softeners! they are a godsend. I bought the generic ones & they work great.
