Post-Op Headaches

Had a LAVH on Nov 3rd 2009 kept my ovaries....and since then I have been having terrible headaches. Had one migraine with and ora, and many that feel like hormonal headaches. This current one has lasted three days. Otherwise I have been feeling great. Anyone else? Oh and I rarely had headaches before...other than a mild one before my period every so often.

I am sorry I have not had terrible headaches. This is a really dumb question but have you had your blood pressure checked? It is probably hormonal (I hate when people tell me this - lol) but you might just want to keep an eye on your blood pressure as well.

The last time it was checked was after my surgery four weeks ago. I am 36 years old and generally have low blood pressure. Not to low, but lower than most. I see my doc for my post-op check up next week, and hopefully he will be able to help. I think it's hormomes as well...just hope they calm down soon. Thanks for your post!

Sometimes when people's blood pressure is elevated you can get headaches from it. It is usually associated with high blood pressure but it is something you might want to check.
