Back pain

I had an epidural for my hysterectomy surgery and yesterday it felt like something "popped" in my back .. I've been taking it easy and using a heating pad but my back is still kind of tender where they inserted the epidural.. I'm 6 days post-op by the way

i am not sure if this will be useful...but when I had my daughter 15 years ago, had an epidural and had bad headache and back ache for a few weeks, i would alternate between heat and ice and switch my resting position like ever hour, and would walk for couple min every hour, that did help.
this time i had general knock out lol, but the pain in my back was so bad in the hospital stay, no pain med helped, but once they let me up and walk and change poistion of sitting in chair and bed and rotation it helped. good luck!
