LAVH: Upcoming hysterectomy March 2

Freeking out not just because I'm having surgery but I was vomiting all night and it felt like my heart was beating way to hard and fast. Chills and dizziness. Needing prayers to get through this bug fast. I have my EKG today, and another pre-op tomorrow. Last time I had a EKG before surgery they waited and moved off my surgery date until I had a cardiograhm done. That turned out fine and surgery was back on. I hope it looks ok this time in the EKG but the way I feel I don't think it will, 😕

Yes it did and thank you for asking. I am feeling a bit better and hoping to breeze through the pre-op. Then I just wait for Monday. Very nervous on and off but I'm getting through it.

My surgery is Tuesday. I know I've been having a lot more anxiety than usual this week, my doc gave me a low dose of alprazolam to take at night, maybe you could ask your doc for something like that. Good luck, positive energy to you!

I am having my hysterectomy on the 3rd as well. My anxiety over it is also growing a bit. Fingers crossed that we will all have a successful surgery!

Try to keep your mind off the surgery by trying to stay busy, distracting yourself by doing things you enjoy.
