LAVH Hot Face 8 weeks post hysterectomy

Hi Ladies.

I am at 8 weeks post op. For the past 24hrs my face is so hot. Not red. The rest of my body feels fine. The hot feeling in constant. It doesn't feel comfortable at all! I kept both ovaries. Any one have this or know what is causing it.

Have you noticed any other symptoms other than your face being hot…? I wonder if that is your body’s way of letting you know that 1) it could be your ovaries playing havoc with your system or 2) have you tried checking your blood pressure just to see if that is normal also…?

During my own recovery, my ovaries trickled at 6 weeks but it took another 2 plus months before they kicked back in to full gear. I can remember my face and my ears being hot right along with that feeling like I was going to spontaneously combust.

Have you called your doctor to see what s/he might think…?
