Just Waiting...

Hello ladies!

I am the newest member of hyster sisters and I am due to have my surgery 9/3/02. This site has been extremely informative and very sensitive in answering all my questions and concerns. I just wanted to thank you all for the support, and please pray for me as I am very afraid. BTW I will be having a LAVH/BSO, and since I am very sensitive to pain, I just hope I don't go into shock from it all. I do realize that it will be an end to all the problems that I've been going through over this past year (bleeding, cyst, lap of adhedsion, etc.) I will finally be able to get my life back. I feel like I'm rambling so I will end now.

Wow, you are on your way! I struggle with the same stuff too. I asked my Dr to give me pain meds BEFORE I wake up! Just think, no more pads or tampons! I think I should own stock in some of the companies! My prayers are with you,

Thats what this place is for, sometimes putting your thoughts in print and getting hugs from other hystersisters who have either been there, or who are going through the same thing helps. Sending hugs and prayers your way. Let your doctor and anestheseolgist know your pain concerns. Tomorrow you will be a princess!
