hysterectomy post pregnancy

Hello one and all,

I've had hyperplasia and my doctor recommends a hysterectomy. I'm expecting my second child now, to be due in Feb. How many weeks after a normal delivery or a C-section can a hysterectomy be done? What kind of a hysterectomy should I expect when they plan to remove only the uterus and keep the ovaries? How many days will I be in the hospital after having one? Will I be able to breastfeed after I get home? Or will I still be in too much of pain? Any help is appreciated.

After a normal delivery I'm no sure. For a C-section the dr would probably do it then. Not sure about the other questions. Hope all goes well for you.
