I'm home & my story!

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted to let you all know how it went. I've been sitting back letting my dh take care of me, and I haven't taken the time to get online!

I got to keep BOTH ovaries!!!! Much to everyone's surprise including my Dr. Everything went smoothly. Surgery was on Mon, home late Tues afternoon. I had to sing for my super (pass gas), and that took FOREVER!!!

I have to say, I feel as though I'm doing pretty awesome. I've had a couple of days where I've felt like I've done too much and ended up taking pain meds at bedtime. The only problems I'm having is with BM, and boy is that awlful. My iron dropped even lower than before so I'm on straight iron pills now, and that is probally the culprit! I'm also taking 2 colaces a day to try and reverse the iron problem.

I'm doing great! I hope all the rest of you ladies are!! Thanks for all the prayers!!

Bella is right lotsa rest and plenty of fluid. warm prune juice may help you with the BM , it did me. Hope you continue to do well.

Glad to hear everything well so well!! Keep up the good work by resting, and yes, try the prune juice - it has helped me. It just took me awhile to get over that "old lady" stigma of drinking it.

welcome back from the castle and by the way you may want to try and drinking some pruine juice it really helped me alot just a little advice and good luck to your recovery
