I had sex last night

Sisters, 6 weeks later, Dr. gave me the ok to do what I wanted. It all still works and is great! Hope everyone does well post op and heals quickly. Life is great, no crying for six weeks, no femine product aisles at Walmart, no having to make sure a bathroom is near 3 weeks a month. Life is good. Orgasms are still good too!! Just wanted to give a postitive post for all you girls out there. I have been back at work for almost three weeks now at a desk job and feel great. No pain at all.

Glad you're having a speedy recovery! I did too... Isn't it great not having to worry so much about fem products, bathrooms, accidents, etc...?!? Definitely a plus to be able to relax for a change instead of having constant worry riding our backs. Plumbing still works well for me too in the sex dept.

YAY you!

I'm so glad to hear this and can't wait to try the new "me" out

I also think sex will be better without having to worry about pregnancy/b.c. issues. Spontaneous sex, WOW!

I had sex last night

I just got the news that we have to wait another 6 weeks because I'm not healing quickly enough. I still have a lot of stitches. I think my husband is going to go crazy, and I'm not far behind him. This next 6 weeks will seem like 6 years! I'm really down...help!

yes joice,
I practised by myself post-op then involved DH, though not with penetration. Started from 3 weeks post-up. You'll know when it's right!
Have fun

Mz Brown: sorry for the delay in getting back to normal!

For all--they do say that around week 3 you start feeling very loving toward your partner. I was there. DH and I practiced the "outercourse" but did not do the oral sex thing--why? dissolving stitches. I just don't feel right about that right now. For him--great--he doesn't have anything different; for me...nope. I'll wait until I do not see one single dissolved stitch.

Elaine: good to hear that someone else practiced before involving dh! I was not going to take the chance of getting him excited about something that MAY happen only to find out that it was uncomfortable, etc.
