What are you putting on your incision?

There are lots of OTC products as well as natural things. Just wondering what you all are using on your scar and if you can tell a difference?

What are you putting on your incision?

I was using Mederma and thought it was doing pretty good but at my 3 1/2 week appt. my Dr. said she thought vit. E was better so I have switched to that but it's only been a few days so I don't have a preference yet.

What are you putting on your incision?

I haven't put anything on my incision yet. From what I can tell it doesn't look too bad. It's not raised or anything. I don't tend to scar badly.

What are you putting on your incision?

I am 3 months out and I didn't use anything on my scar except soap, water, and a blow dryer after showering. It healed beautifully!!! Doc told me to keep it dry and not put anything that would goop it up or cause the area to retain moisture.

What are you putting on your incision?

I have posted many times on this topic...I used vitamin E after suggested by my GYN at my two week visit. Used it morning and night faithfully for several months. (Can't remember when I stopped using it, actually. LOL) Anyway, my incision looks great - very faint white line, very flat and level.

I am very happy with the results.

Just be sure to check with your DR before using anything on your incision. They all seem to have different suggestions/restrictions.
