weight gain

I gained over 10 pounds when I had my LAVH. Is this normal? I know that I was given lots of IV's but 10 pounds!!!

How much walking can I do 3 days after LAVH? Can I walk in hilly areas or only on flat areas?

I would suggest flat areas and short distance. I walked from my room in the Castle to the nurses station and back and that was hard for me too do. It made me very tired. Every day i try just a little bit more But just start around your home, bed to the bathroom to the living room and take it easy and slow on stairs too I just learned today that STOOL SOFTNERS are very high in sodium, which is like salt and you can retain water if your taking them, plus constipation can add some weight too. Remember to papmer the princess take it easy and don't rush it and hurt yourself..
