TVH: 7 hours away!

Completely nervous and full of anxiety. Surgery is in 7 hours. I keep telling myself it's going to be ok. I have a feeling my fear and anxiety are gonna be the worst part of all of it.

For me it was!! Once you get checked in, tell the nurse that starts your IV that the stress is getting to you. They can give you something in the IV for anxiety & it works like a charm. If IV nurse cant or doesnt know just keep asking. I was scared & shaking like a leaf untill the sedative was given! Wishing you an easy sugery & speedy recovery!

I was a wreck before my surgery last Thursday. I had nightmares and everything. The anxiety of waiting was far worse than anything I experienced after. I'm praying for you that you will have a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

That is me too. Nightmares. And now I'm shivering and nauseated waiting kt goto the hospital. I can't wait to be on the other side of this and not have this anxiety is horrid!
