Going Back to Work Monday...Nervous!

I will be returning to work Monday after 4 weeks of recovery and am a nervous wreck! I was feeling good until I cleaned the house yesterday and today I woke up really sore! Also having painful bowel cramps again for first time in a week. Arhgg! Back to the prune juice I guess. Anyway, I don't know how I am going to manage being on my feet all day and pushing heavy carts if I am this sore now from cleaning the house. Hopefully my coworkers will go easy on me! I guess you have to start somewhere. Anyone else back to work or going back to work after an LAVH? Do you have a physically demanding job and how did you deal with it? How was it for you the first week? Would love to hear from you. Thanks!

Went back to work at 5 weeks. I don't have a heavy manual job, just a desk job, but I had a 37 mile trip on a Train to get there (no driving til 8 weeks).

Was quite relaxing - apart from the 2 mile walk at the other end, the hot sweats were out in force that week. I just managed it by taking my time and chilling a bit.

oh - and staying in my bed when my belly got swelly and sore.

Can you not get an extension on your leave? Seems soon to be going back if you still arent feeling up to it??
