Garlic for thrush??

I just read on a link that you can use a garlic clove inserted in your vagina for thrush. Has anyone tried this?? (Not sure what the DH would make of this if he discovered garlic up there!!LOL)

I would not do this without talking to your dr first!

I haven't tried it personally, but it is one of the more popular home remedies for yeast infections. The one I favor is freezing plain unsweetened, unflavored yogurt in ice cube trays and then inserting one of the cubes. It's a little messy, but it feels wonderful on that itchy area, and it works (for me). It seems kinder and gentler than some of the chemical treatments to me.

As always, consult your DR before trying any remedies for post op infections, since there are other conditions that may feel just like yeast infections but require completely different types of treatment.
