2 wks post op, more bleeding?

I had my LSH and BSO 2 weeks ago. I have had a watery discharge (thin, tinged with blood) since day 1. The last couple of days the discharge is more bloody(still thin, no clots, pink to light red in color) rhan watery. I have been having more pain (probably because I ran out of percocet and only take ibuprofen) the last couple of days. I have been doing some light housework (cleaning counters, sinks, cooking, light laundry, etc), but am still in bed most of the day resting. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced an increase in bleeding/discharge like this? I know, I know, 'call my doctor!' I will, but she is difficult to get ahold of and it may take a day or 2 before I actually get to talk to her. I would appreciate hearing your experiences, as I am worried! Thank you.

It is pretty common to have some kind of discharge for almost 6 weeks. I had a TVH, and mine lasted for 6 weeks, starting heavy and lightening up and going from red to white as time went by.

You can always talk to the doctor's nurse, they know what is normal after surgery.

Best wishes on smooth recovery.
