DHEA with estrogen, progesterone and testosterone

Hello ladies! Could anyone tell me if the above cream DHEA combination has helped your symptoms or not? Also, how long did it take to show positive or negative symptoms? Thank you!

What type of symptoms are you having? I would be sure that you are low in DHEA before adding it.

I was low in all areas. Only added 5mg of DHEA/1mg test/1.25 estriol/.25 estradiol. My main symptoms are anxiety type symptoms with dizziness and palpitations. Also have shaking and chills with these "spells". These mainly happen in the evening and later at night.

IMHO, there is no reason to add both DHEA AND Testosterone. DHEA is a Testosterone precursor.

Do you know how long for the DHEA to make a difference though? Do you take it?

DHEA may or may not EVER make a diference, depending on whether or not your body has the enzymes to convert it to other hormones -- DHEA by itself doesn't really do anything. Its main function is as a precursor to other hormones, which is why, if you're already using the other hormones, taking it is rather redundant imho.

Also, I would stay far away from combination creams because you cannot adjust the dose of one hormone at a time. So, unless you are one-in-a-million-lucky, you are going to have a much harder, longer time trying to figure out what the best combination is for you.

I felt a HUGE shift in only a matter of days!

My experience has been amazing with it.

2.5 mg to start every other day and now I do it every day

I also had a huge improvment with the testosterone and estrogen pill and vivelle patch! I finally had a great combo! And money wise I bought the vial of testosterone for 16$ at walmart- 4$ 2m estrogen pills and my dr gave me an endless supply of vivelle patches-

Progesterone is a precursor hormone for testosterone.
Testosterone is a precursor hormone for estradiol.
Therefore, I would not write off DHEA just because you are taking other sex steroid hormones.
I would take DHEA for a couple of months before deciding if it benefits you. It may allow your body to fill in some gaps over time. The best of luck.
