Question list for the doctor
I was thinking of all my questions and writting them down for my doctor for my pre op and all of the sudden I rememberd something that happened to me at my last laproscomy surgery I had numerous surgeriies befor that one most of them being DNC's and one other laproscomy, plus 3 c-sections, and all surgeries I had before hand it was like I was sorta warned before I was being "put to sleep" like saying things count backward from 100 that sorta thing so my last surgery (laproscomy) I remember going in to the surgical area and them transferring me to the op table and feeling them prep me for surgery and one of the nurses asking me why I was shaking so bad I told her it was cold as they keep the surgical room freezing for infection purposes and then the next thing I knew I woke up in recovery it actually was traumatizing for me because no one warned me to count! because I woke up feeling like I was supposed to be talking to the nurse about the temprature atleast when they asked me to count i knew in my head ok in what seems like just a few seconds I will be in recovery and each time I woke up I knew what to expect so I dunno how all you ladies feel about that or if it even matters with you But I deffiantly wrote down on my list to have the anst. warn m just before i'm about to go to sleep so that wont happen again .. I know it seems like such a silly thing but for me it was really traumatic I like to know whats being done to me when where and why lol *lots of love to you ladies* xoxoxo

Question list for the doctor
I don't see a thing wrong with that.
They are there for you.
I also talked to them about several things before being taken to the OR including nauesa, not wanting to wake up in severe pain, etc. I hoenstly woke up feeling pretty good-all things considered-except the shaking.
I woke up in recovery room absolutely shaking like crazy.
I was told it was from the anethesia. Will Post a question about that.
Best wishes w/your surgery and recovery.

Question list for the doctor
With my last surgery I remember being on the OR table. The student nurse (I presume) tried to put the IV in, missed, then panicked! Then I was "sweatin it" too! ( I was only 17)The dr came right over and instantly "whisked" the IV right in. I remember thinking..."why in the heck didn't you do that the first time"? Because now, it HURT! Anyhoo, I was lying there and the dr told me he was putting something in the IV to make me feel funny. He did, and my eyes felt like they would roll right out of my head. So I closed them. Then, a coldness running into my veins, then I was told to count. I remember telling them I couldn't breathe because it felt like I was falling right through the floor, then mask on face and out. My biggest fear was that the stuff in the IV would not work. But, it did. :eyes: This traumatized me a little bit, because I remember it like it was yesterday!
