I need a little advice--post op bleeding

Less as the days pass?? I'm having a light pink watery discharge, and it's not getting lighter by the day. It's not bad but annoying since I blead for most of 2006 and very heavy after my cone biopsy in Feb. UGGHH!
I'm disgusted...... Can't wait till I see my Dr Tues!

I need a little advice--post op bleeding

I think I would ring and get checked out just in case, probably normal.

I had LAVH and bled enough to need pany liners for six plus weeks, although it changed to a brown then yellow then clear discharge as the weeks went by. It was so frustrating as like you I had been bleeding so much anyhow beforehand.

hang on in there it does go eventually.

Please ring and get checked.

I need a little advice--post op bleeding

squeekster,
i feel your pain! I am five weeks post op and never bled a drop until this week. Now I have been bleeding heavy for five days. Ended up back in the hospital and was told that there was a build up of blood in the vaginal cuff and was hospitalized for four days being treated with antibiotics. I am as well very frustrated as I felt so good. Was sent home this morning and told to take it easy but still I am not happy with this answer as I shouldn't be bleeding the way I am. blood count was 13 and went down to nine so that tells me there is active bleeding.

You should always call your doctor if you're concerned about something, but, it may help to know that I'm just a couple days behind you (11 days post-op) and I've been bleeding since I left the hospital. I had a half a pack of pads I thought would suffice, but I ended up having to go out and buy more.

My bleeding increases and decreases with my activity level, and the nurse at the hospital told me to expect that. She also said I could bleed for up to 6 weeks, but it would likely taper off to a brown spotting before it stopped completely.

My blood is bright red, but not enough to soak a pantiliner all day long. I do change it a couple times through the day, but that's just to stay feeling fresh... not because my pad is full.

I hope that helps, but like I said, a quick call to your doctor would ease your mind a bit, too
