Crying!!

OH...and I had a better day today. Only got teary-eyed a few times rather than full blown sobbing. We'll see what tomorrow brings!

can't stop crying

I feel the same way. I have been crying for days and anything can start the waterworks. Even had a big fight with family member, don't know why. I am an emotional wreck but have only shared this with my husband. I don't want the surgery but need it. Have wonderful 3yr old twins- adopted from birth. Not ready to give up "hope" of biological kids so I am afraid that I will wake up from surgery and not be able to deal with my situation. I fear I will be so upset that I may never get over it. My blood pressure is through the roof from the stress and I cannot sleep or function very well. Also stressed over the million things that have to be done before sugery to prepare for recovery with two little ones. this site is great to get support and vent. It's 4:30am and at least I have somewhere to find support since everyone I know is sleeping!

Crying!!

crying - oh yeah - I was so scared b/f surgery. I was at work when I talked with my doc on the phone and got my cancer diagnosis. I called my hubby and my mother, but it was my co-workers that got the initial shock, in person. I could have left work, but my doc was calling back on my work number with surgery info.

the wait was so hard. I got my diagnosis and surgery was 9 days later.

I've cried some since surgery, but not like before. Go ahead and cry. Tears are good, but the hardest was to see my mom cry.

Now, tears still come, but not as much. Sometimes they are tears of joy and gratitude.

It seems like there is a huge range of what is normal, physically and emotionally.

Crying!!

The thing is I have a daughter, don't want any more, and have no problem having the surgery (as my dr. said...I'm not using it any more...may as well take it out! LOL). It will make my life SO much more pleasant. I guess it's the stress of getting everything ready and not really having much experience when it comes to having surgery. My c-section was 16 years ago and I don't remember much other than being slow and sore for about a month. This is much more invasive and I don't know what to expect out of my body!

Crying!!

Cry away, My Doc even sat my Hubby and Mom down in the hospital and told them the emotions would be coming due to hormones. And boy did they!

Crying!!

I haven't got to the crying stage yet, It just doesn't seem real to me yet....but as with any of my other surgeries I've had (none this big) I didn't freak until on the way to the hospital and then once there I was fine....however...I know I'll be freaking out the night before and the day of ......but I'm hoping I continue with the zen attitude I have.
