Flowers for your surgeon?

I sent a gourmet basket to the staff that took care of me in the hospital. I also sent an Edible Arrangement to my surgeon and his office staff. I am a healthcare professional and remember when I first started, patients used to bring all kinds of goodie to us. It was nice to know we were appreciated.

Flowers for your surgeon?

I happen to own a flower shop so it was easy for me to take the doctor's office flowers. I took their office and the nurses at the hospital basket arrangements after 2 weeks. I also took the doctor a silk arrangement at my 8 weeks appt. It had artificial freesia in it and they looked like fallopian tubes and ovaries! At least I thought they did! I think the arrangement ended up in his office, I thought he'd put in the waiting room but he said he was putting it in his own office. For Nurse's week, I took a bucket of carnations to the hospital for all the nurses on the floor where I stayed. I think they all enjoyed the flowers.

Flowers for your surgeon?

I sent a thank you card to my Dr thanking him and telling him how great his staff was to me during my visits, etc. I wanted to send cookies but I never got around to it.

Flowers for your surgeon?

I sent a chocolate gourmet basket to my surgeon, a snack tower to the nurses on the floor, a snack basket to the PACU girls, and also a snack tower to my department where I work, to thank THEM for all of thier support, kindness, comfort and advice during the time leading up to and right through my surgery.
