5 months post hysterectomy abdominal pain

Hello Ladies,
Its been 5 months since my Total abdominal hysterectomy and I have been experiencing a ton of lower abdominal pain. Most of the time it feels like aching or cramping. At first I just thought they were "phantom pains", but I was told by someone that phantom pains aren't actually real. When my bladder is full its very painful, and after I urinate the aching starts. I suspected it to be a UTI but after a follow-up GYN visit I was told that my urine was normal. After my surgery my GYN diagnosed me with Pelvic adhesive disease. During my surgery he said it took him about an hour just to get thru all of the scar tissue. My uterus had actually attached itself to the scar tissue (YIKES). I'm afraid that the adhesions may be forming once again and are the source of my pain. Does anyone else have scar tissue issues? I'm beginning to get discouraged because at this point I expected to feel back to normal but this abdominal pain is a daily struggle for me.

At 5 months I was discouraged also. I still had a lot of pain . I had pain after peeing from pushing hard. My doc told me scar tissue and weak muscles. Heating pad and stretching became my best friends. Little by little the pain gets less. At 11 months I had a break thru and the pain was at 2! I also find that I can't eat gassy foods or a lot of fibre as it bloats me now and cause pain.
