2weeks from surgery- hysterectomy & large hernia fixed being cut open

i am having surgery Sept 5th to remove cervix & uterus. plus fixing a large mid line hernia.

anyone else being cut open?

I had a TAH BSO (total abdominal hysterectomy, both tubes and ovaries removed) due to very large ovarian cyst and uterine fibroids.

I know a lot of other women are having laproscopic and da Vinci surgeries, but you are not alone. There are still women, like me, who have had open abdominal surgery.
