belly band

any women out there that got abdominal band for after surgery

I wish I would have gotten a binder but I've used some high waisted briefs that I already owned (Maidenform luleh #33411). I also have some spans-like garment but the briefs are more comfortable. It really does help to make you feel held in especially when walking.

This is really a personal preference. I did not get one with my TAH BSO, and did not feel I needed one. Some women swear by them. So, it is really up to you.

I have my Mom's but really haven't felt the need for it. It's really up to you.

i had an abdominal procedure and wasn't given one at the hospital like some people are. after readying on this sight i decided to order one on the store. it hasn't come yet but i'm really hoping it gets here this week because i think it will feel better, my tummy/incision area is still so tender and painful :-( hoping it will help me walk and get around more

Oh gosh im so sorry youre in pain try thr ice packs on ur tummy and maybe heat on your back. I hope you feel better soon.

I was given the band at the hospital and thought it helped so much. I feel I was able to walk around better with it and really helped during car ride. It's been 5weeks now and I still use it occasionally.
