3 weeks, and waiting. just got date yesterday for surgery.
gyn-oncologist doing surgery with my she dr. gyno assisting. i do like this arrangement.
i do not like the invasive adenocarcinoma of cervix diagnosis; nor the idea of the lymph removal along with
everything else. at 57, don't think i'll need any of it.
So i'm trying to focus on just the surgery. so much to do
before. i'm a self employed mortgage broker......and i've
had a hard time trying to work since the original pap smear,
a dnc and cone biopsy. I actually wanted the hysterctomy,
but cancer was not in the deal....i was much happier with
high grade displasia. Can you believe that i had such
poor boundaries established, that i wanted a hysterctomy
so i can take a break? But not the cancer, did not want
that; but it is the cancer that is making me look at everything. before the diagnosis, i was angry about
everything, and now all that seams so unimportant.
so i will be reading all the tips yu have to offer. and il'l be
back to ask questions.; thanks for being here.
July 3 is date for radical hysterectomy
. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. I also am self employed and found that work helped so much with my recovery because it gave me a great focus point when I was feeling really awful...focusing is difficult before the surgery, I found it easier after...then again I only had four days notice!
