I agree with Relli! One thing I'm looking forward to is not having to wait until I'm not bleeding - which is rare - and be able to have sex anytime we want!!!!

Hubby and I were talking the other night about what would be a good position to start out with. Any suggestions?

I have no idea where to start positionwise. Whichever one it is, I hope it does't hurt too bad. Hopefully, it's no worse than the first time or two, pain and then pleasure.

Suggestions for "first few times"...any position that allows YOU to control penetration (both force and depth). Start slow, gentle, and RELAX. Tension is only going to cause pain. Use plenty of lubrication. Make sure BOTH of you understand that you may have to stop due to pain/bleeding. Be patient and listen to your body.

I am at 8 1/2 weeks and still have undissolved stitches, so no clearance for at least another 3 weeks. I, too, am nervous about the "first time", but know that we can deal with any situations that could develop. Having an understanding hubby is such a blessing!

I am 44, single mom. I kept one ovary. It's almsot 5 weeks post-op. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy. At 4 weeks , my doctor cleared me for sex at 6 weeks. Good thing I am single because I am NOT able to even think of sex. It freaks me out... LOL!!! I keep thinking of that song by Madonna "Like a Virgin" ... I feel like a new virgin . LOL!!!
