Vivelle Dot - LONG

I'm so glad I read this thread. I'm going to look for the Tegaderm. I lost one patch in the early days of using them (hope the dog didn't eat it!). I never thought that covering would keep the dose consistent, but I'm certainly going to try it.

My doctor is still trying to get the right dose. I've gone from .0375 to .05 in within a month. Hopefully this dosage will do the trick. I much prefer the patch to the pills, so I'm invested in making them work for me.

I just had another thought. Is it true that putting the dot on the buttock area might boost the dosage?

Yes, for many the best place for getting the most out of the patch is the buttocks.
