How many days post op where you when you took

Ok thanks ladies I had a ton of repair work done which I find is most of my pain right now, so HMMMMM. I feel maybe I could go out today but was going to wait until maybe 2 weeks exactly post op. I would have my DH drive of course. I do get outside a bit and sit and watch the girls play, but was just wondering about the store. I guess sometimes I feel READY and other times not so much.

How many days post op where you when you took

Because I had an 18 day marriage to Mr. Foley Catheter, I stayed in the house. But on day 19 - when Foley and I divorced, I HAD to go to my favorite scrapbooking store. They were going out of business nation-wide and I certainly couldn't let that happen with out me. They were on the last 3 days when I was realeased to :steer:

I waited until everyone left the house and then I jumped in the and off I went. I actually went to 2 different locations in my area (not really - as I logged 150 miles that day).

The lines were long, but it is amazing how nice people can be when you tell them you had major surgery. They took my purchases to the register and got me a chair. When it was my turn, they checked me out and took every thing to the for me.

I got home before anyone even knew I was gone. I had a ball.

How many days post op where you when you took

I am now 6 days pos top - mostly pain free but seem to get tired easiily. I have not left my house since I got home on Wednesday...very cold and rainy here so i have not even gone to mailbox or out with dog until today...the sunis shining and the birds are singing.

Now I am not typically ever home...unless I am sleeping, i am slef employed and very active in comunity and DS school.

First few days were nice, and i slept alot, enjoyed the food, books, mags and flowers brought by wonderful family, friends and neighbors...

BUT NOW I AM GOING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!I promised DH that I would stay home through 7 days, and honestly, showering and piddling around house has left me axhausted and with poubdubg headache and nauscous so now I am not sure when I will venture out.

I have been taking ibuprofen - sporadically since Fri. Tried a Vicodin today to help with headache...to no avail.

My head and heart and feet want to get out of here...anywhwere. But my body says stay....I think I might lose my mind.......

Doc told my not to drive for atleast 10 days but lots of people to play taxi....

DH has been so great - everyone has...It has really gone just perfectly. I just cannot seem to relax now...I am rambling....sorry.

Glad to hear all are doing well!
