I am SOOOO done with all of this!
Well, after a 12 day period both my husband and I were very glad it was over so we could - you know (wink, wink). This morning I woke up to some bleeding and slight cramping. I AM SOOOOO DONE WITH ALL OF THIS.
Up until this morning I was debating whether or not to keep my cervix. After all of this i'm now saying take it....I don't need the hassle of mini-periods and bleeding after sex. Someone on these boards told me that you'll know when you've made the right decision for you - you'll just know. It seems that circumstances have proved themselves as they are and yes, they are right, I now know exactly what I want taken out!
Thank you sooo much ladies. I have my pre-op doctors appt. this morning and am so glad you ladies armed me with information so i'm not going into this blindly and will understand everything and have all these questions to ask. I feel in control and confident (it helps that hubby will be there - he wants to know what is entailed in removing these troublesome parts). So, my hats off to you ladies and I can't wait to see you all on the other side!!!

hooray for you!
I love to see another sister listen to and follow her heart.
I had my LAVH on January 16 and I am feeling great. Still easing back into many things, but my body is healing well, my blood count is fantastic for the first time in thirty years, and (wink wink) I found out yesterday that everything is still working great.
I am gathering up my motherlode-supply of tampons to go to the Women's Shelter along with other toiletries I donate from time to time.
Yippee!

Hi Ckshubin,
Let us know how your appointment goes. I had everything removed but one ovary and I can't tell that anything is missing but I sure do feel so much better. Love, (((STITCHER))))
