Tapping Bladder

I feel like I am talking Biology all over again..lol.. I am 8 days PO and am wearing a foley cath until this monday due to swelling. I noticed yesterday that I feel a "tapping" type pain in the right side where I assume the bladder is. It doesnt always happen, its kind of comes and goes. Is this normal? I am drinking alot of water and juices to keep myself clean. Could I be overdoing it by drinking to much liquids? My bladder was suspended during my surgery. Can it be bruised? From what I have read the bladder is very delicate and doesn't like to be disturbed. Has anyone had this tapping?
