Pressure = infection
I went for my 2 week checkup yesterday. It was really 3+ weeks, but that's the soonest I could get in to see my doc ... anyway, I complained about pressure in the pelvic area and that I seemed to be worse than I was at 2 weeks ... she ran a urinalysis on me and I have white cells ... sign of an infection somewhere.
She prescribed Tequin today. I already feel better.
So, if you're backsliding and you've no reason to go there, check with the doc. It's possible that you might have developed an infection.
Best wishes.

Pressure = infection
Interesting thought.....I've been wondering about some discomfort while sitting, thinking in terms of hemorriods (didn't have any before and don't think I do now). Even wondered if this was "pressure" from the relocating of other organs ie intestines etc. I was up every 2 hours to pee for the first week and that has subsided. I'm 17 days out....maybe I should call my Doc's office to see whatzup. Who would of thought it could be infections?

Pressure = infection
Sharnjean,
You are absolutely right. I am going on 8 weeks post op. After surgery everything felt sore and bruised, espeically my bladder. It got better over time but this past week I began to feel pressure. I wasn't sure if it was due to my increased activity - I am attempting to get back into the swing of things at work. It was not. Doctor did urinalysis - and sure enough something nasty was cooking up in my bladder.
Dear sisters, please listen to your bodies. The infection has thrown me for a loop.
Cathy
