jg if you went to the same castle in Michigan as I did Pepsi is not a problem, other than you have to have someone bring it in, they only had Coca cola...YUCK. But they did have a fridge behind the nurses desk to keep it cold and brought me one whenever I rang twice. And always with meals.
Watch out for the roads, very yucky. Hope everything went well.
FitNready, as far as DH goes, mine is the same. Beat him to the punch. While the nurses were preparing me for surgery they asked if I did self breast exams, I said nope....he does. He was an angel the rest of the time we were there.

My daughter graduated from Northeastern in 98. My son graduated from MIT in 93. My hubby taught at Northeast High School so that must have been in my "fingers" when I meant to type Northeastern.

Downyocean

PS. Capemay that is the funniest story that I've ever read.

What an experience.

OMG too funny!! But seriously she needed to go back to Med School for another year! So sorry for your experience.

I can add that when I went to ER a week after my cold cone for SEVERE hemoraging it took 2 hours before a nurse even showed her head in my room, not once did they ask me how much I was bleeding even after telling them I am bleeding heavily with huge clots. They treated me like I was just having a period UNTIL the ER Doctor came in and took one look, ran down the hall and got the GYN on call.

We don't need medical degrees to know when it's an emergency.

6) What if when they do make my incision and take out my old incisions (c-sections) they staple me up and the tattoo that I have on my old incision, a turtle, now looks like a headless turtle? Do I put a speed boat with a propeller and blood above the turtle? A big pot on an open fire for turtle stew?

Thank you! I completely forgot that when this whole thing is (so) over that I'm going to turn the scar into a tattoo. I guess I have a few months to figure out what it should be. Have always wanted to get Celtic dragons around my wrists. Maybe something like that over the scar? Hmmm...

jgtalk:
Where are you from in Michigan? I was born and raised a "yooper eh"
My DH was born in the lower Michigan. Moved "Up Nort", when he was a teenager.
We now live by the big city " Green Bay"
I dyed my hair, plucked my eyebrows today. Got to make sure I look good for those who are putting me under. Got to look good for visitors too...lol
I will probably sleep thru them, so they can stare at my plucked eyebrows, and wonderfully dyed hair...lol
Good minds think alike.....
I will take care of the "other end" right before my date to the castle.
Good Luck everyone......
We will all be comparing notes when we get it all over and done with.
