Headaches

i had my radical on feb 18 2010 5 weeks into post op i got MRSA and they did a out paient procudure to take care of it we went in a week after that for 6 week follow up and to check on mrsa , i advised my dr that my headaches are everyday and they are horrible i mean sometimes i go to bed with a headache and wake up with one i am not on any hrt plan at all i have opted out of that but i wanted to now is this normal for ppl after surgery and how long does it last and will it ever go away???

I am sorry to hear about the headaches.

I had terrible ones myself after my lavh/bso. I went and my GP put me on some stronger meds until I could get my hormones regulated. I started on estrogen shortly thereafter and the headaches eased up. However, I am assuming that since you had a radical that your doc isnt allowing any hrt. I have read about other sisters using different types of antidepressants to help regulate their hormones. Perhaps this is something you could talk to your doc about?
