New name - Sunrise (worried)- dawn of new life

Big thanks to Susan for changing my username. When I found this site 4 or 5 days before surgery I was so nervous, upset, and yes "worried." I tried variations of my name but they were already taken so not feeling very creative at the time I picked worried but that is not how I feel anymore. I feel liberated and free and as if the sun is rising on my life.

For LIW I really do know how you are feeling and like everyone writes "the wait is the worst." I had surgery on 1/22/01 for TAH, due to fib. endo - one ovary was removed and had a bladder sus. While still in the hospital I could see that I was going to feel so much better when the healing was over. My recovery has been like a princesses fairy tale! Not to say I haven't had some pain and discomfort but I was having pain and discomfort before the operation and God willing this discomfort has an end while the other was only getting worse every month.

I wish all of you a successful surgery and complete healing.

Nice to hear...

So nice to hear of your change of heart. I am happy for you and hope you have continued health. I am scheduled for 3/16 and the waiting is killing me. As you can see by my signature at the bottom I feel like a big ol lump hanging on a fence. I can't wait to be on the other side like you. Thanks so much for the encouragement. It is nice to read your kind of story.
Best wishes.
LIW,
EmilyJoy

Thank you EmilyJoy for your kind words. I wish you the very best on 3/16 - it will be here before you know it and then you will be on your way to a better life, too.

My girlfriend took me to lunch today (I guess I should say yesterday since it is 3:30 am) and I felt almost human again and had such fun - only thing she had me laughing so much I had to hold my stomach almost the whole time!!

Have a great day!

Denise

Denise, thanks for sharing and I am glad to hear you are doing better. I have the same feelings as you did. I go in to the castle on 2/22.
