TMI-Pain w deeper penetration 4.5 mths post op?

Today was only our 3rd time having sex. I had a small portion of skin removed at the opening of the vagina due to chronic pain and itching.

This area hurts w sitting and sex. Sometimes it hurts when I wake up--it's a nerve thing that we'd hoped to have remedied with surgery after yrs of pills, creams, etc.

Today brought a new pain--deep inside w sex. I almost flew off the bed-- and not in a good way

I had granulation removed from my cuff 2 wks ago and go to the dr tomorrow to check how it has healed. She didn't get all of it do I may have more removed in the a.m.

Did hubby hit the cuff and is this dangerous at almost 5 mths post op.? I keep picturing infection or worse.

Has anyone else had this happen?! It seems late in healing process for this..
