I can see I'm not the only pre-op nervous wreck out here. One minute I feel so ready to go and then I think of post poning yet again.

Nice to find this site to express my roller coaster ups and downs and hope the rest of you ladies are coping well.

I went for preop visit 1-9-07, final blood work on 1-17-07 and then surg 1-19-07. Best to all I'll post again soon. Thanks

hi, no you are not alone! I think the whole waiting thing with surgery is like along rollercoaster ride for most of us!I had my pre-op on the 10th and my surgery is the 16th..I cant wait for it to be over with on the one hand and trying not to panic on the other! I wish you the best of luck and speedy recovery!

The waiting really IS the worst part...

I had my surgery in a large hospital and I waited almost 4 hours in the waiting room!

That was way too much time to sit and worry and I felt sheer panic when it was time to undress.

Now, looking back, those 4 hours waiting were worse than any pain I felt afterwards.

I am certain that both of you are going to do just fine, hurry back and tell us your experience!
