I am having a tough time with all of this being recently de-spoused. He has been gone for a couple of years, but the divorce was final less than a year ago. we were together for alomost 14 years, including 10 years of marrage. I have never had to go through anything like this "alone." My parents and family are incredible supportive, but I still feel alone. It has been a messy divorce and coninues to be...he "hopes I die" in front of our four children, etc. He moved in and continues to live with my old"best-friend" so my support system kind of caved in. I also seem to be having trouble with no more possibility of children, even though I KNOW I am and was finished. I have been blessed with 4 beautiful chren, why the blues? I have been very emotional lately. A lot of other things are going on as well, and I feel a bit overweemed. Thanks for letting me vent!! Thanks for all of the support, it has been GREAT! Mary

{{{[Mary}}} You won't be alone...we'll be here with you There's someone on this site at all hours. Please check out the chat room too...many have found comfort chatting with others.

Try not to get too overwhelmed. Make sure you house and recovery room (at home) has everything at waist level so you won't have to bend and/or stretch when you get home. Stock up on easy fix (freezer and/or microwave) foods...jello, pudding, canned fruit, juices etc. Keep emergency phone #'s close at hand. If you're affliliated with a local church...contact them and ask for some help. Locate drug stores or grocery stores in your area for delivery service..etc. Plan ahead to REST, REST, REST.

Most of all...take things one step at a time. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
