sex after hysterectomy

hi i was wondering if sex is different after hysterectomy..im scare its going to b different.any advice

Suppose it depends on what kind of surgery you had. What was removed and our individual ages. I haven't gotten to that point yet but I'm happy to say my "outside" orgasms are better. I still have my ovaries but no tubes or cervix. Here's to hoping actual sex is just as good or better as well.. What kind of surgery did you have?

For me it was different. O's not as intense. I had a total so I have a vaginal cuff. My vagina seems smaller and shorter. My hubby said it was too. We've only done it once since I was cleared this week.

i have my ovaries still but no tubes,cervix snd uterus

I think mine has changed a lot I have done it a couple times since I was cleared first time hurt a bit no big O and the second time there wasn't any pain and still no big O. I have never had a problem having an orgasm with my husband.I am 31 and had lavh/bso and for me it does feel very different but I'm hoping as time goes on a little more I will start to have my big O moments back. I have heard a lot say it gets a lot better so here to hoping

I had TAH and only have my right ovary left. I'm only 29 not sure if that makes a difference.I resumed sex with my husband after 6 weeks and it was a little painful at first probably due partly to the fear as it was to painful for months prior to surgery. But once I became comfortable it was great with multiple O's. Stay positive and try to relax but also take it slow and listen to your body. Hope this helps

My first 3 times weren't romantic or anything much more than a mission. After that, especially adding estrogen cream, things got much better. Now, I have a great sex life, a high libido, and wonderful orgasms. It does get better with time for quite a few of us. I had a total hysterectomy and both ovaries and tubes removed as well. I am able to do HRT. Hope this helps.

I heard that! For me it was a mission! Luckily for my husband, our first time tonight was romantic I am very thankful my parts are still in good working order. After all we have been through, with patience, there is hope.
